Thank you for visiting our site and learning more about our cause. Erin Kennedy is a wonderful wife and mother of two young children. Four years ago, Erin had surgery for a cerebral aneurysm. The surgery was considered a success, but she has since been plagued with horrifically painful migraines, some lasting for a month or more. Erin lives in constant pain, as the remainder of the aneurysm presses against a nerve in her brain.

For Erin, each day is a struggle for normalcy. Basic tasks that most of us take for granted can be exceedingly difficult, and often impossible. In the past four years, Erin has tried many procedures, medications, non-traditional therapies and prayer to relieve her pain. And yet, her condition has become more dire. A new surgery called Motor Cortex Stimulation is Erin's last hope. She has found a surgeon qualified and willing to take her case, but her insurance company has refused to cover the costs involved, upwards of $150,000. The surgery is risky, but Erin considers it her only chance to get her life back.
